After undergoing recovery, I discovered the immense power of knowing you’re not alone—that there are others who understand, support, and walk beside you through life's ups and downs. Sharing my story on YouTube not only gave me the courage to be open, but it also connected me with fellow adventurers who needed that same reminder of hope. This connection inspired me to build a brand focused on authentic connections. It's about meeting like-minded individuals, fostering real relationships, and creating a community that shares travel experiences together. Whether it’s through exciting adventures, meaningful conversations, or simply being there for one another, the ultimate goal is to connect, make lifelong friends, and help others on their journeys. With over 25 years of experience as a commercial broker and developer, Mike has built a successful career as an entrepreneur and business owner. However, one of his most meaningful journeys has been coming out later in life—at the age of 54—and discovering the power of authentic connections. Being part of AuthenNick Adventures allows him to merge his professional drive with his personal mission: helping others feel included, supported, and celebrated through shared travel experiences. For Mike, building friendships and community as an adventurer in travel has become one of the most gratifying chapters of his life. He is committed to assisting others—especially those who may feel alone—find the same sense of belonging by encouraging them to sign up for adventures that foster these connections.

I’m Phil — I’ve always believed that travel is more than just a destination; it’s about the stories we create, the authentic connections we make, and the freedom to live authentically. I’ve lived and traveled through more than 45 countries and cities, each one teaching me something new about culture, connection, and courage. I’ve always loved planning experiences that bring people together, so teaming up with my best friends to launch AuthenNick Adventures feels like the adventure of a lifetime! Our very first journey—a whirlwind Mediterranean cruise with stops in Madrid, Barcelona, Nice, Rome, Dubrovnik, Kotor, Santorini, and Athens—was the perfect kickoff to what we hope will be many more incredible travel experiences. For me, the joy is in the details: building programs that spark authentic connections, finding fun ways to explore new cultures, and creating memories we’ll be talking about for years.
